Angela Oduor Lungati joins the Accelerator Fellowship Programme

Angela Oduor Lungati 

We are delighted to announce that Angela Oduor Lungati has joined the Accelerator Fellowship Programme of the Institute for Ethics in AI.

Angela is a Kenyan technologist, community builder, and open-source software advocate with deep experience in digital innovation and civic technology. She is the Executive Director of Ushahidi, a global not-for-profit technology organisation that develops tools enabling communities to collect, share, and use information to shape solutions and drive civic engagement. Angela is also a co-founder of AkiraChix, an initiative supporting women’s participation in technology, and has been recognised for her leadership in digital inclusion and ethical innovation.

Through her Fellowship, Angela will contribute her insights on inclusive technology, ethical governance, and community-centred approaches to digital systems, enriching the Accelerator community’s work on the ethical and societal impacts of artificial intelligence.
